Overview

Gotham Point and Broome Street Development are mixed-income and mixed-use new construction developments that provide 16,000 housing units, a large portion affordable, and retail offerings and innovative spaces in support of culture and arts. Designed by Handel Architects and Dattner Architects, respectively, and comprising four buildings of approximately 1.5 million square feet of construction, the amenities range from indoor & outdoor fitness clubs and co-working lounges to rooftop terraces and a publicly accessible community boathouse. The challenge of new construction in New York City, the largest city in the United States, is that it requires multiple municipal agency approvals. Milrose employed an intensive project management strategy to monitor the schedule, ensure that the projects were effectively expeditated, and deliver occupancy in accordance with the client’s needs.
