Please be aware that the deadline for all office buildings in NYC to comply with Local Law 191 Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector requirements is now July 1, 2021 (originally set as January 1, 2021).

Building owners and managers must ensure that CO detection system plans and specifications are designed and installed according to code and the work must be filed appropriately with the FDNY in advance of the July deadline.
