Equipment Use Permits (EUP) are required for operation of service equipment or systems, such as HVAC equipment and systems, elevators, fuel burning and fuel-oil storage, and certain boilers.

If you are replacing a unit with a previous EUP card, be sure to decommission that unit through the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) and to apply for your new EUP card.
