The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families (CHCF) honored Milrose Vice President, Gustavo L. Mazza, with the Championship of Leadership Award at their 17th Annual Gala, ‘A Slice of Latin America’ on March 9, 2017 at Capitale in New York City.
Milrose was beyond proud to support CHCF's Annual Gala and recognize Gus for his work throughout the year as Chair of the CHCF Board of Directors. Domenick A. Chieco, Managing Partner at Milrose, had the honor of introducing Gus and applauding his commitment and dedication to championing CHCF’s mission to bring a continuum of education and career readiness to New York City’s youth.
This year's event raised over $500,000 for children and families in the Latino community. The event also honored Luis Ubiñas, President, Board of Trustees, Pan American Development Foundation, and Tom Gillespie, Building Services Director, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.

The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families (CHCF) is a non-profit organization whose mission serves to expand opportunities for children and families in the Latino community. The money raised during this year's Annual Gala will fund programs in parent engagement, early care and education, youth development, and career/college exposure. CHCF is dedicated to a future where Latino children, youth, and families have equitable access to opportunities, are empowered to realize their full potential and are affirmed in their culture.
