Despite an extraordinarily challenging year, the human spirit has the uncanny ability to always look for rainbows when it rains and stars in the darkest of nights.
Due to the circumstances caused by the pandemic, the annual New York Tech School of Architecture and Design FRIENDS networking event has been REIMAGINED into a virtual celebration that will be held on Thursday, December 3rd from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
FRIENDS REIMAGINED will be a virtual event highlighting student activities and honoring spotlight alumnus Roger P. Smith (B. Arch ’78). Domenick Chieco, CEO of Milrose Consultants and a graduate of the Class of 1989, will chair the event and co-moderate it with New York Tech Dean Maria Perbellini. The event will conclude with a live Q&A session.
The event will present a unique opportunity to engage Dean Perbellini, faculty, students, and prominent alumni, in a meaningful discussion about how the school has adapted to the current environment and found new ways to be innovative, adaptive leaders, and provide the next generation with the tools they need to reinvent a more sustainable future.
All sponsorship support raised through the event will go towards the FRIENDS mission of promoting a working relationship between the architecture, construction, and interior design professions, and the School of Architecture through the funding of student scholarships, special projects, digital equipment, and conferences.
