Beginning June 1, 2015, the Department of Buildings (DOB) launched a six-month, expedited, after-hours inspections pilot program for development projects enrolled in the High Rise Program. Pilot participants can request after-hours construction, plumbing and electrical inspections.

Please note that all inspection requests for evenings and weekends must be received during normal business hours.
 
Available Times for After-Hours Inspections

• Monday through Friday: 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

All after-hours inspection requests must be submitted to HRTInspections@buildings.nyc.gov with “AHI” in the subject line.
