As outlined in section 903.2.2.2 of Local Law 78 of 2015, owners of ambulatory health care facilities and animal service facilities will be required to install sprinkler systems in these properties by December 31, 2016.

This law is retroactive and will apply to all specified facilities after the last day of the year. For more information about the DOB sprinkler requirements, reference the DOB Service Update or contact Milrose Consultants.
